BRIDE: Danielle | GROOM: Brad | LOCATION: TUSCANY – Pienza | PH: Beatrice Moricci
Brad and Danielle wanted a simple and intimate wedding and that’s exactly what we created for them.
The ceremony was held at this characterful hotel in the Tuscan hills with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, officiated by the lovely Giancarlo who made sure this couple had a unique and fun experience.
After the ceremony the newlyweds opened the prosecco and made a toast to their life together before heading into the town of Pienza where this fun loving couple made the most of the cute stone paved alleys where Danielle tossed her bouquet to some of the local girls.
The couple finished off the evening by having a romantic dinner and first dance together.
All that’s left to say is: Congratulations Brad and Danielle!
From the bride, Danielle:
Brad and I met in 2007 in Rome. I am American and was traveling through Italy when I was 19, Brad is Australian and was also traveling through Europe. He was 24. We met in front of the Colosseum and have been together ever since! After we met, we continued to travel together 3 years and spent our summers in Italy together. In 2009, Brad proposed while we were on a horseback riding trip in Rufina, Tuscany! After this, we made our home in Queensland, Australia.
As we now seem to be having many romantic milestones in our relationship in the beautiful country of Italy, we thought it was only suiting that we married there. As both of our families live so far away, we decided to elope in Tuscany, just me and him. With the extremely helpful and ongoing advice of the STWP team, we planned to have our elopement in the stunning town of Pienza! The day was absolutely beautiful – clear blue skies, birds singing, church bells chiming in the distance, and I shared every moment of the day with the love of my life.
