September 14th, a sunny day in Italy and Olga and Ilya, this young couple arrived directly from Russia to get married in Italy! An intimate wedding in September and this is just a part of the story!
She, Olga wore a nice lace white wedding gown and he, Ilya, a grey suit embellished with lovely violet touches as the boutonniere, his shirt, of a lighter violet colour, and the socks too! 🙂
A delicate violet also distinguished the bridesmaids, the groomsmen’s shirts and the decorations the bride&groom asked their wedding planners in Italy to décor the ceremony set and all the settings for the wedding reception at the villa they rented for this special wedding in Italy.
Violet in this occasion has been perfect to lighten up the day! After the preparation of the bride and groom, the lake also became a protagonist of this day, being the good companion for Olga and Ilya and their guests as they all reached the lovely Maggiore Island in the middle of the lake to celebrate a happy wedding!
Yes…. Olga and Ilya had decided that the island in the middle of the Trasimeno lake in Umbria would have been the perfect set for their Italian symbolic wedding! And their wedding planners in Italy prepared for them the lovey ceremony (and ceremony set!) every bride and groom deserve!
On the island the first to arrive of course were the groom Ilya and the wedding guest, then Olga came along with her father and sister with her simple and happy smile on the face. So our bride and groom reunited in front of the shores of the lake Trasimeno in Umbria, and the celebrant blessed their two souls in just one!
After a thrilled ceremony in front of the lake and a lovely wedding arch with violet touches, the couple toasted with their guests and some glasses of sparkling Prosecco!
But the wedding day had just began and Olga and Ilya cannot miss the chance to visit the splendid town of Cortona in Tuscany!
Then, after the reunion with their guests back at the villa, they all abandoned themselves to a lovely evening all together. The gazebo had been adorned with hearts and candles and the shining violet embellished the rose tablecloth in the napkins, the glasses and the flowers. The bride&groom simply enjoyed their wedding in Italy, even planting an olive tree to impress this unforgettable day in their minds and bless it for the rest of their wedded life!
