BRIDE: Steffi | GROOM: Falk | LOCATION: TUSCANY – Area near Cortona | PH: Anny
Tuscany is not only lavander and pastel colours..look for an orange&red day, a wedding with lots of character as our bride and groom Steffi & Falk!
We met Steffi and Falk during one visit in Tuscany. They were delighted by the venue at first: a lovely Tuscan casale with a beautiful view with enough space to have children run around and a panoramic pool to refresh your fee under the hot sun of the Tuscan summers.
That visit marked not only the starting of their wedding planning but also of a friendship made of lots of photos and moments shared together even from far away, they living in Germany and us in Tuscany. Other than the wedding we planned together we shared in fact, happy moments like the birth of Carly, her lovely babygirl and other photos of their private lives with their lovely family!
It took one year and tons of emails to plan their wedding and at last The Day came!
They chose the 27th of August and a beautiful sunshine acccompanied them throughout the day…even too much that the ceremony had to take place a bit later with a milder weather and the colours of the sunset as background. The weather messed up their plans but not too much to ruin their day, so enjoyable and in company of happy and lovely people.
A real civil ceremony took place at the casale and it was introduced by the groom’s uncle that made it even more special making all laugh at times and even move at others. After the ceremony the couple head directly to the dinner (as with the hot sun they couldn’t do anything different from refreshing themselves at the aperitif that took place before the ceremony!) 🙂
Steffi chose a slip wedding dress with a round neckline and Falk a classic suit with a nice bow tie. The colours of the wedding reflected the Tuscan summer with red and orange dahlias, white daises, roses and sunflowers, perfectly in line with the country style of their Tuscan wedding. A wedding arch as a symbol of their new life and petals along the aisle for the ceremony. On dinner tables the same flowers mixed with the green of the bottles and ivory cloths chosen for the napkins and the runner. Strings of lights made the atmosphere even more fairy above the big horseshoe table.
To end this night, our Steffi and Falk chose a tango as first dance (perfectly performed I may say!) and from this moment on you can imagine it.. lovely moments dancing all together until late at night including some baths in the pool in the dark!
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
