When Mark and Ashley wrote us for the first time, it has been love at first sight! Ashley, with her gracious beauty and Mark, with his aplomb, won our hearts immediately. Key words from this Bride were elegance and tradition, so our challenge was to succeed in giving her something original, always respecting her vision. Starting from hair & make-up, our experts worked to enhance Ashley’s beauty by highlighting her very classy simplicity. Our Hair stylist Alessandro enhanced her “ice blonde” and its complimentary sand shade with soft waves. Giulia, one of our trusted Make-up artists opted for a “nude” look, by applying just a touch of eyeliner framed by matte and silky eye shadows.

The choice of the gown was a winning choice as well. Ashley was able to combine romanticism and classicism of her tulle shawl with the lively plissé effect of the dress’ skirt. Long sleeves, a real touch of class! In collaboration with Ilaria, floral designer, we created a classic: a white roses bouquet “symbol of innocence and pure love”.

The majestic Cathedral of Cortona is in itself a real work of art, as all the churches in Italy.  With Ilaria, we created a semi circular arch at the entrance, using Delphinium, hydrangeas and roses, all strikingly white.

The reception venue chosen by the couple is a famous Relais & Chateaux in Cortona. In addition to being a luxury Hotel, it offers a picturesque setting for a romantic and unforgettable shooting. Moreover, the owner Silvia Baracchi, has the only Michelin star in Arezzo area.

As for the wedding reception decor, we followed again the combination with white and silver, used for flatware and candelabra, and also in the amazing  “Chandeliers”. The real touch of class was in the chargers decorated with red floral pattern. Ashley and Mark could not have chosen a better cake: a traditional tiered millefeuille cake, chosen also to honour the mother of the groom, who had the same cake on her wedding day.
