A luxury Jewish wedding in Italy

The Clear cut couple!

Season: Summer weddings

Style:Country chic weddings

Setting: Destination, Al Fresco

Vendors

Day before: Pizza Party

We’ve been suggested to Olivia and Kyle (founder of The Clear Cut) by another couple who worked with us in 2018, and we felt immediately at ease working together. They had a clear vision of the event and it was so nice to help them get married in Lucca, the place where Kyle used to spend his summer during his teenage.

The idea was to create a nice weekend to enjoy Tuscany, family and friends outdoor, keeping the Italian touch and the Jewish traditions. So challenging and exciting!

To enjoy the guests flying from all over the world we threw first of all a Pizza Party, a memorable Italian night with Italian old songs, a FIAT 500 which serves Aperol Spritz and Prosecco and tons of delicious Italian wine and food.

Dinner was served as buffet according to the style of the venue and we set lounge tables and chairs for the guests. This setting is perfect for welcome parties as allows people to get to know each other and talk (for some of them it is the for the first time to meet the rest of the crew!).

Music is key as well, and with Olivia and Kyle we went for traditional old Italian music, the perfect soundtrack for a culinary night. Volare, Tu Vuo Fa l’Americano and That’s Amore are just few of the titles we put on. The party was a great success!

As for the food and drink, in Tuscany you know that we take it seriously! We went for Pizza made in front of the guests, Tuscan wines and a FIAT 500 to serve Aperol Spritz and Prosecco.

The wedding day...

The day after, the hottest day in June 2019, we were ready for the wedding!

Olivia got ready with all her beautiful bridesmaids, while Kyle was enjoying the pool with his buddies.

She chose a white dress which makes her tan skin even glower and smoother. It was a mermaid shaped gown with lace decor, perfect for her silhouette. The make up was glowy and warm, and it created a nice match with her colors without loosing in elegance and simplicity.

The color palette matched the front of the villa. So dusty rose and burgundy were the main colors framed with white and green (a must have in Tuscany!).

Our main goal was to keep the Italian touch together with the glamorousness of New York, for this reason during the cocktail hour Aperol Spritz has been served and a white Italian Vespa was the perfect photo booth for memorable pictures.

Moving to the dinner area, the decoration on the tables screamed elegance. We had greenery of difference types, tons of candles and strings of lights above to give a fairytale atmosphere. You might say it was simply, I’d rather say, it was perfect for the mise en place, the venue and the season and the style of the day. Creating a simple set up with a runner of greenery, we highlight the dresses of the bridal party and the couple, as well as the magic atmosphere of the lightings. We had  strings of lights above our head and architectural lights around the park and on the facade of the villa. Enlightening the architectural building around the tables gives an elegant and so precious impact.

After the reception we moved straight forward to the dance floor and everybody danced until late in the night!
