I think you all have thought about a country wedding in Tuscany! Well, this is a Real country style wedding, so read more and enjoy!
To celebrate their wedding, Ingrid and Jeroen decided that the pure nature would have been the protagonist. Where more appropriate that the coutrnyside near Cortona? As for the wedding ceremony location, they opted for a wheat field with olive groves in the background, straw bales with cushions and veil decoration instead of the classical benches or chairs…so can you really think of something more country? Simplicity was the keyword to their union but the details have made this country wedding in Tuscany special!
The morning started with the preparation of the ladies in a venue near Cortona. Once dressed up, braids, flowers and colourful strings decorated the heads of the bride and the little bridesmaid and a red Fiat 500 car led them to the location of the ceremony. Here, the white of the bridal gown and of the bridesmaids’ dresses made the ladies stand out in the rural landscape of the Tuscan nature and the symbolic wedding ceremony began with the best premises! And it seemed that not only Ingrid and Jeroen were going to get married but also their three daughters that sit with them in front of the celebrant to participate in first person to their parents’ wedding! 🙂 Particular as the orange shoes of hers and the handmade nuptial rings, the ceremony was touching and amusing, too! And all participants can testify to it!
As requested by our spouses, this had to be an eco & country wedding!! Also the ring cushion was in pure country style: a bunch of straw nicely tied up with cord and 2 white roses on it as decoration. The colours that dominated the scene was white with some pink details like the bouquets hanging on trees, all wedding reception table details and the wedding cake as well, decorated with tasty rose “flowers”! Well, even champagne was rose&pink! 🙂
The great Tuscan sun shining bright in the sky and the joy of this happy day made this country wedding in Tuscany perfect even in its simplicity! The couple then, decided to have a religious blessing, very important for them and the three little bridesmaids. And now this story ends..well, just their wedding day, ‘cause they started a new journey through the Tuscan countryside and its most beautiful cities like Cortona on board of the vintage & country red Fiat 500 car!
