LOCATION: Montepulciano| PH Stefano Santucci
Martine and Hugh’s lovely tuscan wedding happened on a sunny Wednesday of July. The Venue was in the famous town of Montepulciano, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
At 5 pm the guests started arriving at the wedding venue. Photographers were there, and they started shooting photos of groom and groomsmen with an handsome view on the rural area in the background.
After some minutes of shooting and talking, the other guests, parents and friends, took their seats and a cone of petals, to use at the end of the ceremony.
The ceremony – Lovely Tuscan Wedding
At the beginning of the ceremony, the two bridesmaids arrived in their lavender shiny dresses. Next the beautiful bride made her white entrance wearing an A-line dress. After a brief introduction of the celebrant there was the presentation of the couple. Then bride and groom joined their hands. Looking at at each other they said their thoughts and exchange the vows. After this moving moment they finally exchange the rings. The final act of the ceremony was the shattering of the glass. The celebrant put the glass on the floor rolled in a napkin. In the end the celebrant announced that Hugh and Martine were now husband and wife. In that very moment the groom broke the glass, kissed his bride and everyone screamed “Mazal tov”!
After the ceremony – Lovely Tuscan Wedding
At the same time, florists were preparing the huge table for the dinner. The set up was made of typical tuscan fruits, plants, flowers. Beautiful candles as decorations added the finishing touch! The couple had the idea to use the pieces of a broken vase as sitting place, writing on them the names of the guests.
At the end of the ceremony, before dinner, everyone had a big aperitif with lots of typical croutons, cheese and ham.
After the guest started moving to the dinner area. A myriad of sparkling lights hung to the surrounding trees illuminated the huge table. Obviously, this created a lovely cozy atmosphere.
Next the dancing party started. All the people moved to a covered room! After a romantic first dance on the notes of “When love takes over” by David Guetta, everyone started dancing entertained by a dj and also a saxophonist.
After such a lovely day we can only wish the best of luck to this joyful cute couple!
