BRIDE: Sarah | GROOM: Adriano | LOCATION: TUSCANY – Chianti | PH: Facibeni PH
A Tuscan wedding in September is definitely a must, and having a lovely couple like Sarah and Adriano is always a pleasure! Sarah was an attentive bride and so deeply involved in planning from the very beginning. She already had all the details of her Tuscan wedding in her mind, so we just helped her to make them a reality!
For her symbolic wedding, Sarah chose a venue in the Chianti region of Tuscany (famous worldwide for its wines and vineyards!) She decided to stay here for the entire wedding weekend in order to give their guests the possibility to enjoy all aspects of the villa and to have them present for the whole celebration. Unusual for an Italian wedding, Sarah decided to see Adriano before the ceremony, but we definitely understand why! Adriano and Sarah chose to get lost in the vineyards nearby right before the ceremony, probably to give her and her husband enough time to fall in love again, immersed in the amazing Tuscan countryside!
I can remember the exciting moment when she came out of her room. Sarah had on a beautiful strapless, mermaid-style, white dress with beautiful layers at the bottom and a train. She came out surrounded by her lovely bridesmaids, dressed in long, vintage style, blush dresses. Once out on the beautiful panoramic terrace of her Tuscan venue, Sarah reached Adriano, who was facing away from her, to greet and kiss him. This was very exciting!
The couple then made their way to a vineyard nearby (after all we were in the Chianti area of Tuscany!) to take some photos by themselves. Then, it was back to the venue , where the bride and groom rejoined their respective bridesmaids and groomsmen for a refreshing glass of Prosecco and to enjoy a couple of moments together before the ceremony.
To the instrumental version of “A Thousand Years” the bride and her father talked down the aisle, toward a delighted groom, waiting for them under an amazing arch, covered with grapes. Such a lovely sight to see, and definitely a special moment to experience for our bride & groom!
Olive leaves, anemones and David Austin pale roses made everything look even more delicate! These were all used for the bouquets and decorations at the ceremony and on the dinner tables.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom took some time to take photos with their wedding party, friends and families. Adriano and Sarah both have family in Italy, but many of their other guests came from all over the world to be there. It really was their dream to reunite their family and friends for their wedding in lovely Tuscany!
The dinner took place in a beautiful area of the venue, under warm strings of lights in the fresh green garden of the villa, under a nice portico with a lounge area, ideal to relax during the exquisite dinner. The night went along amongst speeches, delicious food, and ending with the launch of Chinese lanterns, ideal for the last most romantic moment of the day before the party had begun. The first dance. “All of me” by John Legend blessed their love and the rest was just enjoyable moments and laughs with their family and friends!
We wish Sarah and Adriano all our best and hope they have loveliest memories ever of their Tuscan wedding!
