Elia and his team are absolutely sensational – second to none. What is most amazing about STWP is the the seamless teamwork and the amount of heart each member of staff invested in our wedding. They are all absolutely amazing people and my new husband and I adore all of them.
The three key benefits of using STWP are: their concern for remaining within budget, their passion for your concerns, problem-solving skills (e.g. when I couldn’t get my first choice of vendor, they found us many alternatives, all of which ended up being better than I could have imagined).

I can’t tell you the panic it caused; flash floods in the venue and a Florence-wide blackout. The water from the flood was swept up, the back up generator was set up and the tables were all restored in record time. The STWP team not only sorted everything out for us and the whole wedding was only delayed by 45 minutes. It was like it never happened.
Many of the guests said it made it an even more unforgettable night – and we agree. Our wedding was saved because of our incredible wedding planners and vendors, and had STWP not been there, we may well have had to go home at 8pm.
Had we had our time again there isn’t a single thing we would have changed about our wedding day or, more pertinently, our planners. STWP helped us get it spot on and absolutely right. Which is really saying something given what we went through with the weather!
We would absolutely recommend STWP. So many of our guests asked for Elia’s business card that he ran out. I will be using them again myself for any event we may have in Italy (and I expect we will have many) – even though they are wedding planners, I hope they will help us plan other parties in the future.

From the first minute we contacted them to help with our arrangements they provided exceptional service and a level of professionalism and expertise that really put our worries at ease. We were planning our day all the way from Australia but this could not have been easier with the guidance of these lovely people. They are local, and as such have a wealth of knowledge about locations, venues, celebrants, hair and make up artists, flower arrangements, every thing you will need on your wedding day.
The communication was back and forth was excellent and they delivered on everything that we required.

Elia and Germana were wonderful additions to our wedding day! Having Germana there allowed me the time to relax leading up to walking down the aisle and throughout my reception instead of worrying about all the little details. She is professional, organized and very pleasant. The day before my wedding I said to her ”I feel like I should be doing something” and she replied ”no, that’s what I’m here for – you just relax and enjoy yourself” and that’s definitely what I did.
When I contacted Elia, I already had the entire wedding planned out in my mind, I just needed some help making it happen. From the moment I explained my vision, Germana got to work making all my ideas a reality. Looking back on my wedding I really can say, when I was sitting there at dinner on my wedding night and I looked around, everything turned out even better than I had imagined.
My advice to anyone planning a wedding (especially one abroad) would be that a wedding planner is an invaluable tool and as much as you think you might be able to do it on all your own, and maybe you can, being able to relax, especially on the wedding day itself is worth every penny. Elia and his team were everything we had hoped for and more as wedding planners! From start to finish Elias involvement made our planning process and
wedding weekend run smoothly and would not have been the success it was without their help.
After meeting us in Cortona for the first time and getting to know us Elia suggested a wedding venue that he suspected we would love; he was right and the venue was exactly what we were after. The beauty of ‘Super Tuscan Wedding Planners’ offering is we could have as much or little involvement in the planning process as we want. Elia text, called, skyped and emailed throughout the whole process, ensuring we were always kept in the loop and nothing was ever a problem for him no matter how big or small or what time of day it was. He was also amazing in organising our guests, most of which consulted him on accommodation queries, restaurant recommendations and even babysitters!
We had very few hiccups throughout the process but if we did have any problems (as you would expect with an event of this scale!) Elia always provided a solution and we trusted him whole-heartedly to ensure everything went according to plan.
Elias experience in the industry means he knows the region so well and has the best of contacts to meet any bride and grooms needs. He is professional, constantly happy, never appeared stressed and always so happy to help or talk things through with us.
We honestly cannot recommend Super Tuscan Wedding Planners enough. Elia and Arianna helped to organise our absolute perfect wedding and have become good friends in the process.

STWP were kind, patient, professional, and easy to work with. There were moments during the planning process when I became overwhelmed with the uncertainty of planning a wedding from 5000 miles away, but Elia was always available and willing to discuss every single detail with me. He was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable; most importantly, he was authentic and genuinely interested in helping us achieve our vision for our wedding day (rather than seeming like he had any sort of interest or motivation of his own).
The vendors Elia works with are all very high-quality; even while planning on a budget, we were able to stay in an incredible villa for a week, work with an amazing photographer (Julian Kanz), and have the most delicious, semi-vegetarian (four of us don’t eat meat) dinner prepared and presented by a local caterer (Il Preludio). The day of the ceremony was stress-free and relaxing – Elia was present early in the day to be the contact as vendors arrived, and made sure we were free to soak in every moment of intimacy and togetherness that day. It was perfect.
All in all, I would recommend Super Tuscan Wedding Planners to anyone who was looking for the highest quality, yet most authentic wedding planning (and wedding) experience. My ideal wedding was rustic and intimate (we only had 14 guests), but browsing through STWP’s website, one can see that Elia is capable of working with couples to create any kind of wedding – from glamorous and ritzy to simple and rustic and everything in-between. He is an amazing individual to work with and a reliable, trustworthy businessperson. Our goal of a relatively stress-free wedding planning experience was achieved, our wedding week and ceremony was beyond what we would have dreamed of, and, because of Elia, our families (and my husband and I) have a once-in-a-lifetime, beautiful experience to look back on. We dream of returning to Panicale, and of reuniting with Elia and his team.

We have just returned home from honeymoon after our wedding in Cortona, Tuscany and we can honestly say that no words would do justice to our wedding planner Elia Moretti of Sposiamovi.it. Absolutely nothing over the course of 12 months planning was ever a problem and he took our dream wedding and simply made it happen. We knew from the first time we met Elia and his beautiful wife Arianna that we had made the right choice because they had really listened to what we wanted and only brought us to see potential venues that ticked all our requirements, all of them beautiful! They did so much more than plan our wedding, they showed us the surrounding countryside, introduced us to their friends, took us out for dinner and even brought us to one of Arianna’s concerts – she is a fantastic singer with an amazing voice! We have had so much fun in their company. The service providers they introduced us to were, like them, so friendly, helpful and professional and we could not have been happier with the level of service provided in each case. We had the best 3 days of our lives that exceeded all of our expectations (and they were high!). We really cannot recommend Elia enough – for his professionalism, his attention to detail, his knowledge and his ability to find solutions to any potential problems. Elia Moretti worked with us on our wedding and it was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. My husband and I live in Ireland and rather than having the ” traditional wedding” we wanted to have something a little more intimate. From the moment we met Elia, he understood our needs.
We first travelled to Italy in November 2011- Elia spent an entire day giving us a tour of Tuscany (and even took us for lunch!)- his enthusiasm and knowledge of his locality is a marvel and incredibly infectious. After the initial visit, we communicated with Elia via email, calls and text on a weekly basis. It was wonderful, as over the course of our time working together we got to know each other as friends- so much so that it was like Elia was reading my mind as to what we wanted for the wedding!
What was also very special about working with Elia is that we had a limited budget and he understood that. He did his utmost to provide my husband, family and I with the best day possible within our means… I know now that his wonderful wife even handmade some of our table and floral displays! On the day itself Elia was attentive and professional. Everything went off without a hitch but I know that Elia was always at hand if we were to need something- he stayed until the very end. My husband and I owe the best day of our lives to Elia and his wife- who spent many months working to make it more special than i could have imagined. Elia took care for our wedding till the smallest details.
We are from Holland, so it is important to have the trust to let the weddingplanner arrange all the things in Italy. Elia did this very professionally! We flew for some days to Italy two times, to discuss all relevant matters and details. Upfront we talked about the plans for that days; Elia was there to guide us and took us to places, business etc what was needed of what we were interested in. He understood perfectly in which atmosphere, surrounding we wanted to marry.
In some situations in the preparation phase, we lost the overview. Elia helped us to get it back, as he was the only one with the overview and knew perfectly what we agreed and discussed.
On our wedding day itself, all came together! It was perfectly well arranged, organized and set up. Elia was there all day, he took some colleagues, and all ran smoothly as we could imagine.
As preparation took more than half a year. We felt a friendship while working with Elia. We definitely would recommend him as a weddingplanner.
