BRIDE: Flo | GROOM: Nassim| LOCATION: wedding in Tuscany Italy: Val d’Orcia | PH: Nicola Tonolini
Flo & Nassim are a special couple: their country of origin is Lebanon and immediately we understood how strong are the ties that bind them to their former homes. Now they live in Dubai and they contacted us to help them make their destination wedding dreams come to life! They wanted to ensure a really italian experience to their guests. To do this they chose a Borgo in the middle of Val d’Orcia, with rolling hills all around and a peaceful atmosphere.
Since they dreamed of offering their guests a wedding in Tuscany Italy we built a 3 day event full of experiences linked to the italian and tuscan territory. Step by step we found the way to make this dream come true.
To start, the day before the wedding we set up a wine tasting in Montepulciano. Flo and Nassim welcomed all family and friends to Tuscany in a very typical way! Then everyone headed to the Wedding Venue, getting ready to the evening Pizza Party! Read about it here.
Finally the long awaited day of the wedding came!
Before the ceremony, during the getting ready, the excitement was palpable, since many guests stayed at the Borgo the whole weekend. It also was a challenge to make sure that the Groom’s eyes didn’t get on the Bride while she was around with hair and make up already done! All things where ready, and in the late afternoon, the outdoor ceremony started.
The ceremony
The Bride was absolutely stunning in her sleeveless gown with flowers and paillettes applied by hand, with hair up and a crown of pearls and her fabulous blue eyes! The bouquet reflected the pale color palette chosen for the wedding, but with some bright pink and green flowers.
The Ceremony took place outdoor in the panoramic area. Once again we sensed how spouses and guests are tied to their roots. We also sensed their joy in every moment.
The aperitif
Just after this intimate moment, the aperitif started. The Bride changed her hair style. She let her hair down while guests were enjoying the aperitif. Drinks, food and also the italian Styled photo boot corner with a Vespa and a Fiat 500, made everyone happy!
And to respect the italian experience, it was time for a surprise: a Medieval Parade to the sound of drums with an exciting flag wavers show! Most noteworthy is that all the guests became part of the parade and drummers and flag wavers escorted them to dinner!
Dinner & after-dinner
Dinner was memorably tasty even though it wasn’t exactly a seated dinner. Flo & Nassim decided to set the tables around the dance floor and the band played, so everyone danced – all the time, just taking their time to sit and eat to catch breath!
And at the wedding cake cut, medieval guys came back with another show with fire eaters! It was such an extraordinary moment!
With the dj then, it was time to dance all night!
In conclusion, this was definitely an amazing wedding day!
Brunch the day after
The day after, it was time to say goodbye! And Flo & Nassim decided to do it with a Brunch in the pool area, and in the shadow of a tent. Set up included tables, carpets and cushions, so that guest could relax and eat. The decor with lemons and daisies was fresh and cheerful! The Bride gave every woman a floppy hat personalized with the names in glitter! It was a memorable way to say thanks and goodbye to all the friends who took part to this 3 day wedding! No one is ever going to forget it!
